Road Trip to Zen

Is eight hours in the car too high a price to pay for a little peace?

Ever since I discovered this zen miracle last summer (credit and thanks to my longtime fellow yogi, native Angeleno Liat Mazor!) I can’t stop craving unplug meditation. An oasis in the midst of bustling Wilshire Boulevard, this gem of a studio is genius: the first drop-in modern meditation studio in the world. I've heard it described as the ‘the drybar of meditation’, and I can attest to the high that comes from both a great blowout AND a minimalist meditation (and am glad I live in a world where I can find both!).

Searching for some peace? Stop by for a class and meditate, then step back into your day with a sense of calm (and increased happiness, reduced stress, focus, and inner peace). If you are worried it’s going to be too hippie for your modern self...Relax - the studio isn't decorated with peace flags and patchouli aromas, but  is simple, spare, and calming. The space is clean and peaceful, the staff warm and welcoming, and the variety of classes offer something for everyone - Ommmmmmmm… why is unplug meditation 400 miles away?
